Years of ideas and running tabletop role-playing games has culminated to this.... 

How did all of this get started?

I have been a GM for most of my gaming lifetime. It all started with a game of Dungeons and Dragons (Red Box) (Mentzer) in 1983. I started a lunchtime game with some classmates and have been playing it ever since. It adds up to 30 years of experience playing role playing games.

Why did you decide to write this blog?

I discovered the gaming communities on Google+ a few years ago. Reading and posting various recommendations and reviews. After a short time everyone was telling me I should write down some of my experience and ideas in a blog. So, here we go!

What do you want to write about?

Below is a list of articles I am going to focus on:

• GM Templates, 3 ring binder templates for your use in your games.
• Adventure Ideas and Campaign reports on my long term games. The systems vary from Numenera, to Savage Worlds, D&D5e, and Dungeon World, mostly my favorites.
• Black Lantern Podcast, articles and interviews covering the latest happenings in the RPG world.
• Book of Cards, a non player character depository from my various games.
• Articles reviewing the latest and greatest RPG products.

What is your latest project or favorite product?

I am a big fan of Savage Worlds and want to share the Savage Rifts Kickstarter with everyone, so if you have not already pledged please consider adding this game to your repertoire.
